A VPD (Vorprüfungsdokumentation) is a preliminary review document issued by uni-assist that translates and evaluates your qualifications, including your grade on the German scale. Some universities require a VPD as part of the application.
Why it matters for applicants from Pakistan, India & Bangladesh
If your target university asks for a VPD, you must apply for it early through uni-assist — it takes weeks and is a common cause of missed deadlines.
